Payroll Specialist , your primary focus will be on ensuring the
accurate and timely processing of payroll
and benefits for employees across various units. You will act as a trusted partner to HR, Finance, and management, supporting
payroll operations
and resolving complex issues efficiently. Your role will be key in maintaining compliance and fostering continuous improvement within payroll processes. Process payroll and benefits data accurately and on time, including salary adjustments, bonuses, and pension contributions Conduct audits of payroll information to verify data integrity and compliance Administer employee benefits platforms and oversee pension schemes and auto-enrolment processes Coordinate with payroll providers and internal teams to resolve issues and enhance processes Prepare detailed payroll reports for HR, Finance, and management decision-making Ensure legislative compliance and keep abreast of UK and Irish payroll regulations Support payroll system improvements and documentation of standard operating procedures What we are looking for The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, with experience in managing benefits and pensions, coupled with excellent organisational skills. A proactive approach, attention to detail, and a focus on compliance are essential traits for success in this role. Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with familiarity in payroll software and systems Knowledge of UK and Irish payroll, tax laws, and compliance standards Related qualifications such as CIPP (preferred) or equivalent Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Bachelors degree or relevant experience in payroll or HR Dont miss out on this fantastic opportunity to advance your career in payroll.
