Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching PE in a school located in Mansfield?

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Mansfield to recruit a full time SPE Teacher for a maternity cover starting in April 2026. This role will involve teaching Key Stages 3 and 4, full time, and is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school community.

The Role - PE Teacher (Mainly KS3 with KS4)

As an PE Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and well-planned PE lessons across KS3 and KS4

Follow established schemes of work while bringing creativity to lessons

Assess, track and support pupil progress effectively

Contract & Salary Details

Start date: April 2026 (maternity cover)

Working pattern: full time

Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

£180 - £235 per day

Qualifications & Person Specification

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for PE
• Be organised, adaptable and committed to high-quality teaching
• Have strong classroom management and communication skills
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
