A PE Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in South West London.

This PE Teacher position will be part time and temporary in the first instance.

Teaching for this PE Teacher post will be mainly for KS3 to KS4 classes, with the possibility of some KS5 lessons being added in the future.

The rates of pay for this PE Teacher role will be between £170 and £320 a day, depending on the qualifications and experience of each applicant.

The School

An Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form, for pupils aged 11 to 19 years old, located in the London Borough of Wandsworth.

It is a heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities as well.

Providing a balanced and broad curriculum, the school focuses on subjects that contribute to the PE Baccalaureate.

The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average.

Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the school's life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.

In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.

Requirements

You're encouraged to apply if you're a PE ECT or experienced PE Teacher.

UK QTS or equivalent
Right to work in the UK
Clear and updated Enhanced DBS
Experience as a PE Teacher in UK schools
