People Operations Team LeaderCharity sectorLocation: London - hybrid working (3 days in the office)Type: PermanentSalary: Up to £40,000A well-established, mission-led charity supporting children across London has an opening for a People Operations Team Leader, sitting at the heart of HR delivery and leading a small operational team while driving structure, consistency and improvement across HR processes, systems and data.This role will suit someone who enjoys joining the dots, asks why things are happening, and uses data and insight to improve the employee experience while being confident handling complex queries and escalations. You will play a key role during organisation's growth and system-improvement phase as it invests within its People function as it matures.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop 2 experienced HR Operations Administrators, providing day-to-day direction and first-line decision makingOwn and oversee the HR ticketing system, handling escalated queries and ensuring a high-quality, timely serviceAct as the key interface between HR Ops, HR Manager and wider People leadershipUse data to identify trends in turnover, retention and recurring issues, translating insight into practical improvementDrive greater efficiency across manual HR processes, helping shape smarter workflows and better use of the HR systemSupport and advise on employee relations matters, payroll queries and complex lifecycle activityBuild credibility with senior stakeholders, including Directors across People, Operations and RecruitmentWhat We're Looking ForStrong background in HR Operations within a complex, multi-site environmentComfortable leading a small team - light management experience welcome, or readiness to step into a Team Lead roleUp to date working knowledge of UK employment law and confident handling ER related queriesAnalytical and logical - able to use HR data to spot patterns and recommend changeExperience improving processes, systems or workflows (HRIS implementation or rollout exposure highly beneficial)Gravitas to challenge senior stakeholders constructivelyConfident supporting a non tech-savvy workforce with clarity and empathyIf this is the right move for the next step in your career, please apply without delay.The SR Group (UK) Limited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
