Job Description

Our client, a leading UK Manufacturer is seeking a People Partner to support the overall development and execution of the people strategy within the Central Operations function. The role will be responsible for key people metrics, will play a critical role in people projects and lead people partner activities such as; talent management, execution of ER policies and procedures, recruitment and onboarding.



Duties

  • Collaborating with the HR team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel engaged and inspired to deliver top business results.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect and professionalism.
  • Challenging team cultures and behaviours to ensure that they are always consistent with organisational culture.
  • Being the key owner of data, generating insights that will help to shape the people agenda and drive performance on key metrics.
  • Collaborating with HR colleagues to support a ‘one team’ approach and challenge so that we may continuously improve to deliver the People Strategy and annual business plans.
  • Support, and sometimes lead, the creation and deployment of strategic people projects, including the people engagement plan.
  • Providing support, advice and coaching on all people related issues for the central operations teams.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and talent management process.
  • Educating, coaching, and partnering with managers on performance management and employee development goals.
  • Supporting ER case work and policy implementation as and when required.


Experience and Qualifications


  • CIPD qualified to level 5 or above, or proven experience.
  • Excellent ICT skills and sound knowledge of HR systems, processes and legislation.
  • ER experience including leading on complex cases and deploying ER activities.
  • Up to date knowledge of good practice and emerging trends in the field of HR.
  • Experience of supporting the implementation of change initiatives, ideally within a rapidly growing or evolving business setting.
