Personal Assistant to CEO
Location: Manchester City Centre
Salary: £35,000 – £50,000 basic + monthly commission (£50–£1,000 based on company performance)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm (occasional 10:00am–7:00pm shifts depending on workload)
About the Role
We’re searching for a highly organised, detail-driven PA to provide direct support to the CEO of a busy, fast-paced Manchester-based business. This role requires someone with either proven high-level PA experience or a legal/law background, who is confident, proactive, and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
You’ll be at the centre of operations, ensuring the CEO’s time is maximised, priorities are managed, and key business activities run smoothly. A week of onboarding will be provided, covering sales, customer service, submissions, and marketing so you fully understand all areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Log all CEO requests (via email or chat), set chase dates, and follow up until completion.
- Prepare and distribute reports on outstanding tasks.
- Take minutes in key meetings and track actions.
- Manage the CEO’s diary, travel, and meeting preparation.
- Act as the first point of contact between the CEO and management team.
- Oversee office operations when the CEO is unavailable.
- Organise events, bookings, and purchases for the business.
- Maintain up-to-date handover documents for managers and remote staff.
- Screen and organise the CEO’s emails, drafting responses where appropriate.
- Conduct spot checks on sales calls and team performance.
- Proofread and ensure all company communications are on-brand and grammatically correct.
- Monitor company licences, insurances, and renewals.
- Track daily reports and ensure submissions from all relevant team members.
- Identify and implement time- and cost-saving initiatives.
About You
- Proven experience as a PA, EA, or Legal Assistant.
- Excellent written English and grammar skills.
- Highly computer literate – confident across Microsoft Office, email, and business systems.
- Able to work to tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional, confident communicator with people at all levels.
- Must hold a full driving licence and be able to commute to Manchester City Centre within an hour.
Package & Benefits
- £35,000–£50,000 basic salary.
- Monthly commission bonus (£50–£1,000 based on company performance).
- Monday–Friday hours (8:00am–4:00pm, occasional 10:00am–7:00pm).
If you’re an organised, fast-thinking professional who thrives on keeping things running seamlessly behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
