We are recruiting a Planned Works Supervisor to join a well-established Social Housing provider in the East Midlands on a temporary to permanent basisgoing from a competitive hourly rate of £35-40 per hour to £42,000 annually! As a Planned Works Supervisor,you will play a key role in delivering planned maintenance and improvement programmes across the organisations housing stock, ensuring homes remain safe, compliant and maintained to a high standard while providing a positive experience for residents. Whats on offer: Salary: Competitive hourly rate (temporary), with permanent opportunity available Working pattern: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), site-based across East Midlands properties in the south region (Loughborough, Northampton etc.) Benefits package includes:Competitive hourly rate with the opportunity to move into a permanent roleWeekly pay during the temporary periodMileage or travel expenses where applicableSupportive team environmentOpportunity to secure a long-term position within social housingAccess to training and development opportunitiesExposure to large-scale planned maintenance programmesKey responsibilities of a Planned Works Supervisor include:Supervising planned maintenance and improvement works across residential propertiesManaging contractors and operatives on site to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to specificationCarrying out site inspections and quality checks throughout project deliveryEnsuring compliance with health & safety legislation, CDM regulations and organisational policiesMonitoring programme progress and reporting on performance, risks and delaysLiaising with residents to ensure clear communication before, during and after worksSupporting the delivery of refurbishment programmes including kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows and energy efficiency upgradesEnsuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction across all projectsProjects will include planned maintenance, refurbishment and improvement programmes across occupied social housing properties throughout the East Midlands.The successful Planned Works Supervisor will have:Experience supervising planned works within social housing, property maintenance or constructionStrong knowledge of refurbishment and planned maintenance programmesExperience managing contractors and monitoring site performanceGood understanding of health & safety regulations and site complianceStrong communication skills, particularly when working with residents and stakeholdersA proactive and organised approach to managing multiple projectsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the East MidlandsThis role would suit an experienced Planned Works Supervisor looking to secure a long-term opportunity within social housing following a successful temporary period.
