Planning Engineer / Senior Planning Engineer based Central London - Happy to take the right individual on a permanent or Freelance basis (up to £425 a day)

We are currently resourcing an experienced Planning Engineer / Senior Planning Engineer for a London based construction main contractor. The company has enjoyed consistent growth over the last 5 years, which has resulted in them being included in the Sunday Times Fast Track Top 100 Companies in the country and they still have exciting expansion plans for the future. They have recently won a number of new schemes totalling £80m in value. The contractor predominately specialise in design and build and refurbishment schemes which are either public or privately funded.

The successful Planning Engineer / Senior Planning Engineer must have a broad range of project experience, on pre and post contract programming, as well as a good understanding of tradition forms of contract, which will include, JCT, design and build, partnering, two stage tendering and negotiated contracts. The successful Planning Engineer / Senior planning will also need to have the ability to build good customer relationships – this role will require the individual to be able to meet with the client and their team to understand expectations and gather information about the project and then work with the internal project teams to ensure delivery, on-time, on-budget and effectively. Experience of Power Project is desirable.
