ApplyWe are looking for an Assessor/Trainer in Plumbing and Gas to join our busy, high-performing Construction Department in Cambridge This is a chance to use your industry expertise to shape the next generation of skilled professionals while working in a supportive, forward-thinking team.You will lead a caseload of apprentices, guiding them through every stage of their programme and helping them build the knowledge, skills and behaviours they need to thrive. Your coaching and assessment will play a vital role in ensuring they are fully prepared for a confident, successful End Point Assessment.What you'll do Deliver engaging, high-quality training, coaching and support Carry out workplace assessments and progress reviews Monitor, track and record apprentice progress with accuracy and clarity Prepare apprentices thoroughly for End Point Assessment Build strong, professional relationships with employers across the region Contribute to business development and employer engagement activity Keep up to date with industry standards, regulations and Health & Safety Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation and recordsThis role offers agile working, blending on-site delivery, workplace visits and remote administrative work from home.What you'll bring A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Plumbing Strong, relevant industry experience Assessor and/or IQA qualifications (desirable) Experience teaching or assessing (desirable) Solid understanding of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Confidence using digital systems and tools Flexibility, professionalism and a collaborative approach Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
