Why join our team?
We are looking for a PMO lead to join Samsung MX team, aligning cross-functional internal teams to deliver against the SEUK strategy focusing on overhauling the financial and marketing funding pipeline for MX, coordinating and updating internal processes to deliver best-in-class campaigns, owning the yearly planning cycle, and increasing operational efficiencies by working with our key agency partners to deliver the best service.
This role is dedicated to leading coordinated integrated planning across MX. While being a key point of daily contact for our local team, you will also be responsible for building positive relationships with senior leadership, agency leads, and external partners.
Role and Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities:
What are the key responsibilities & what will be your key deliverables?
Processes (launches and financial)
- Manage and lead cross-functional teams to deliver launches and planning processes across Samsung MX (Mobile phones, tablets, hearables, wearables, PC) on time and in full, establishing and maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes.
- Renew the MX marketing blueprint process from start to finish, working with finance, team HoD, and HoD of IMG to overhaul to ensure timely tracking of spend, accurate reporting, fair distribution, and increased ROI.
- Lead the security of the end-to-end launch process for multiple HQ, internal, and agency partners. Regularly assess adaptability of security plans, scrutinize adherence to steps and processes, and report back to HQ periodically.
- Track team metrics to plan and oversee reporting processes across MX, automating and collating reports, and sharing these in an easily accessible format with key stakeholders across SEUK to help understand business performance.
Agencies
- Ensure agencies deliver excellence in idea creation, client market management, workflow management, and deliverable output, while ensuring they are prepared, accredited, and adhering to Samsung security procedures.
- Work with the Lead Planning & Finance Manager and Head of IMG to handle workload forecasting and agency spend, ensuring contracts and payments are delivered on time through full RFP processes.
- Develop and align teams behind periodic agency reviews. Deliver feedback to agencies and develop plans to address underperformance.
- Develop ways to measure quantity and quality of work periodically, and develop critical metrics for continual improvement.
- Ensure adherence to best-in-class financial management and reconciliation practices.

- Well-versed in handling agency relationships.

- Data-driven, detail-oriented, questioning assumptions, and suggesting innovative approaches.

What does success look like?
- Fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and standard processes across MX, leading to efficiencies at all levels.
- A revamped financial blueprint planning process that reviews campaigns to ensure alignment with SEUK strategic goals, strong ROI, accurate spend tracking, and faster reconciliation for tactical re-investment.
- Delivering automated, consolidated, and timely reports in an understandable format to stakeholders, with a decreasing number of reports and increased centralization.
- Building valuable relationships with key agencies through QBRs, proactive projects, and RFP processes to optimize service and investment levels.
