The Role
We are looking for a committed and compassionate Positive Behaviour Support Worker to join our team at Quo Vadis Trust in South-East London. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) where you will support adults facing mental health challenges, helping them engage in the recovery process and achieve their personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support a caseload of clients with various mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance misuse.
* Develop and implement individual support plans with clear, achievable goals.
* Work closely with clients to promote their recovery and independence.
* Provide a safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the well-being of clients.
* Assist clients with daily living tasks and help maintain their accommodation.
* Complete client records accurately using our management system.
* Work with external agencies and healthcare professionals to support clients.
* Attend staff and client meetings, training, and development sessions.
* Provide support to colleagues across our schemes when needed.

Quo Vadis Trust is a specialist housing charity in South-East London, providing support to individuals with mental health conditions and behaviours that challenge. We believe in promoting recovery, maximising independence, and building community. Our team works with around 200 clients, supporting them in their homes and through recovery-focused services. The Person
You are dedicated to helping people and have experience in supporting individuals with mental health challenges. You are compassionate, patient, and resilient, and you can stay calm in difficult situations. You also have:
* Experience working with mental health conditions or other support environments.
* Knowledge of welfare benefits, housing, and homelessness.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet clients’ needs.
