The Role


This role sits within the firm’s practice management function and supports a leading Private Equity M&A group in Europe. The Practice Manager will work closely with practice leadership and corporate management teams to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the group, including staffing, talent management, training, evaluations and longer‑term strategic planning.


The position is highly collaborative and plays a central role in ensuring that associates and paralegals are effectively deployed, supported and developed within a fast‑moving transactional environment. It also provides exposure to broader business planning initiatives and firm‑wide projects.


What They’re Looking For


  • Qualified corporate lawyer or senior professional with experience in Private Equity and/or M&A.
  • Background gained within a top‑tier law firm or equivalent in‑house environment.
  • Strong understanding of transactional workflows, resourcing models and associate development.
  • Interest in, or experience with, practice management, professional development or talent management.
  • Confident working with partners and senior stakeholders in a commercially demanding environment.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to balance competing priorities.
