Principal Electrical Engineer We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to join the Energy team at Costain. In this role, you will take the lead as the Lead Design Engineer on one or more projects, delivering high-quality engineering solutions to industry-leading clients. Our work spans all project phases, from concept studies and FEED through to EPCm delivery. You will collaborate with multi-discipline teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget. Our diverse pipeline covers brownfield Oil and Gas facilities, pioneering Hydrogen production and storage, and opportunities to contribute to Nuclear, Defence, and Transport sectors. Key Responsibilities As a client-facing Principal Engineer, you will: Provide technical input on electrical engineering for projects and proposals, including the preparation, checking, and approval of engineering deliverables. Plan, organise, and allocate work to discipline teams, ensuring delivery meets agreed schedules. Mentor and support the development of graduates and junior engineers.
