Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in East Renfrewshire, is currently looking to recruit a Principal Officer (Capital Projects) for a 24 month contract on a salary between £52,465 - £57,283. This role will be hybrid based with 2 to 3 days a week in the office.

Responsibilities:

- To lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams of both internal and external project personnel, fostering challenge and innovation, improving team performance and creating a successful delivery culture. - To manage resources within programmes/projects, including programme budgets of a potentially significant size and provide direction, advice and guidance to project managers within a programme. - To be responsible for the successful delivery of a number of major capital projects within a programme, which includes delivery of City Deal and other large-scale regeneration and environmental schemes. - To develop and maintain programme governance and documentation as required, ensuring compliance with any external governance arrangement and funding requirements. - To be responsible for the successful delivery of feasibility work to inform infrastructure delivery projects, particularly in early phases of their development prior to construction. - To ensure that programme/project deliverables comply with rele...
