Private Client Partner – Manchester


Salary: Up to £150,000 + comprehensive benefits


This national, top‑tier Legal 500 firm is renowned for delivering sophisticated private client advice to high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs, complex estates and charities.


With an exceptional reputation and a growing national footprint, the firm is now seeking to strengthen its Manchester Private Client team with the appointment of an experienced Partner or a Senior Associate with a clear pathway to partnership.


The Opportunity

You will join a high‑performing, collaborative national private client practice and take responsibility for a high‑quality, diverse caseload, advising on:

  • Succession and tax planning
  • Inheritance tax mitigation strategies
  • The creation, administration and taxation of trusts
  • Complex wills, estate planning and asset protection
  • Broader private client matters for HNW/UHNW individuals and family‑owned businesses


You will also play a key role in the continued development of the firm’s Manchester presence, working closely with colleagues across the national team.


About You

  • Qualified Private Client Solicitor with 6+ years’ PQE
  • Strong technical expertise across tax, trusts and estate planning
  • STEP qualified (or working towards) is highly desirable
  • A client following or established referral network would be advantageous
  • Commercially minded with demonstrable business development capability
  • Experience gained within a well‑regarded regional, national or boutique private client practice
  • Ambitious, driven and seeking a long‑term strategic move at partnership level
