A rare opportunity to help build and shape a high-performing private client practice Senior Associate / Partner – Private Client Manchester | Hybrid Working | 5+ PQE | Market-Leading Package + Bonus An award-winning national firm is continuing to invest in its Manchester office and is now seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (Senior Associate / Partner) to play a key role in the next phase of growth. This is more than a traditional fee-earning role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop client relationships, and help shape a growing team while working on complex, high-value matters. Strong client base of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients You will join a highly regarded private client team advising a prestigious client base of HNW and UHNW individuals, families, trustees and business owners. The work is both varied and technically challenging, with a strong focus on wealth preservation, succession planning and complex structuring. Snapshot of opportunity

Succession planning and complex inheritance tax mitigation Estate planning and wealth protection strategies Trust creation, restructuring and ongoing administration Capital gains tax planning Philanthropy and charity advisory work Cross-border and international estate planning Optional involvement in contentious probate matters

Your opportunity to help shape and drive the team At this level, you will also play a broader role in the success of the practice:

Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers Building and strengthening key client relationships Driving business development initiatives Contributing to the strategic growth of the Manchester private client offering

What you will bring

5+ years’ PQE in private client law Strong technical expertise in wills, trusts, IHT and CGT Experience advising HNW and UHNW clients STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred Commercially minded, proactive and keen to contribute beyond fee-earning
