Senior Associate / Partner – Private Client

An award-winning national firm is continuing to invest in its Manchester office and is now seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor (Senior Associate / Partner) to play a key role in the next phase of growth.

This is more than a traditional fee-earning role. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategy, develop client relationships, and help shape a growing team while working on complex, high-value matters.

Strong client base of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients

You will join a highly regarded private client team advising a prestigious client base of HNW and UHNW individuals, families, trustees and business owners.

The work is both varied and technically challenging, with a strong focus on wealth preservation, succession planning and complex structuring.

• Succession planning and complex inheritance tax mitigation
• Estate planning and wealth protection strategies
• Trust creation, restructuring and ongoing administration
• Capital gains tax planning
• Philanthropy and charity advisory work
• Cross-border and international estate planning
• Optional involvement in contentious probate matters

Your opportunity to help shape and drive the team

At this level, you will also play a broader role in the success of the practice:

• Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers
• Building and strengthening key client relationships
• Driving business development initiatives
• Contributing to the strategic growth of the Manchester private client offering

What you will bring

• 5+ years’ PQE in private client law
• Strong technical expertise in wills, trusts, IHT and CGT
• Experience advising HNW and UHNW clients
• STEP qualified (or working towards) preferred
• Commercially minded, proactive and keen to contribute beyond fee-earning
