This is an exciting opportunity for a Private Family Partner to be part of a highly respected, boutique family law practice. Who we’re looking for
4 PQE up to Partner level Able to run your own private family caseload Commercially minded with strong billing habits Positive, proactive and open-minded Enjoys flexibility and remote work Strong communicator, confident with client conversations Legal 500 experience (desired but not essential) Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
What you’ll be doing
Manage a caseload of private family law matters Deliver commercially aware, client‑centred advice Build strong relationships and contribute to establishing the brand locally Maintain accurate time recording and billing Work within a national family team across Manchester, London and Leeds Focus solely on fee earning — no BD, no advocacy Participate in team video calls and receive remote support and mentoring
Salary & Benefits
£60,000–£90,000 depending on experience 1 day per week in the Birmingham office (or once a fortnight/month depending on distance) Option to work 4 days and get paid for 5 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (higher allowances possible depending on performance) One‑week Christmas shutdown Hybrid/flexible working Clear and fast progression No BD and no advocacy - fully supported by marketing and a sales director Highly modern, tech‑forward firm Senior pairing for support when working remotely Strong wellbeing support, family‑first culture
