Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a London Based Housing Association as a Procurement Manager.
\n
The role will be looking after the construction and FM categories and will require someone who has experience in these categories gained within the public sector or similar.
\n
Key Duties
\n
\n Develop and implement the organisation's procurement strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
\n
Deliver savings and efficiencies while maintaining service quality.
\n
Lead category management for key spend areas such as construction ,repairs and maintenance ensuring embed social value, sustainability, and ESG objectives into procurement activity.
\n
Provide expert advice on procurement regulations and best practice, including Public Contracts Regulations (or relevant frameworks).
\n
Manage end-to-end tender processes, including market engagement, PQQ/selection stages, ITT documentation, evaluation, award, and mobilisation.
\n
Draft and negotiate contracts and framework agreements.
\n
Establish and maintain central contracts register.
\n
Monitor supplier performance through KPIs, SLAs, and regular reviews.
\n
Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and frameworks.
\n
\n

\n Proven experience in a senior procurement role, ideally within social housing, public sector, or construction/property services.
\n
Strong knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance frameworks.
\n
Experience managing high-value contracts and complex tenders.
\n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
\n
Ability to deliver savings and value for money.
\n
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
\n
Working towards CIPS
