A global engineering business producing advanced optical and precision instrumentation is seeking a Product Manager to support the development and performance of a specialist product range. This role would suit someone with a technical background who is ready to take the next step into product ownership.
Role Overview
As Product Manager, you will support the product lifecycle from research through to launch. Working alongside senior product managers, R&D, sales and marketing, youll help translate customer needs into product requirements and support the delivery of high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Support market research, competitive analysis and product roadmap development
Assist in preparing product requirements, business cases and technical documentation
Engage with customers through demos, sample testing and feedback collection
Help prepare product marketing materials and sales support content
Collaborate with engineering, production and QA teams to ensure successful product releases
Monitor product performance, quality levels and customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Physics or similar.
Experience in precision engineering, optics, instrumentation, photonics or a technical manufacturing environment
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Analytical, organised and eager to learn product management practices
Customer-facing experience or an interest in applications engineering is advantageous
Willingness to travel and work within international teams
