Product Manager - Precision Technology
Location: Leicestershire Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE + competitive package Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
A global precision engineering company is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead a specialist product portfolio within their precision instrumentation division. Operating across aerospace, automotive, energy and industrial markets, the business designs and manufactures advanced measurement and instrumentation solutions.
Role Overview: The Product Manager will own the full product lifecycle - from market analysis and strategy through to development, launch and ongoing optimisation. Working closely with engineering, production, sales and marketing teams, you will ensure products meet technical, commercial and user requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead product research, market analysis, roadmap planning and launch activities
Translate strategy into technical requirements for engineering teams
Develop product positioning and marketing materials
Support customer demonstrations, hands-on measurement and application analysis
Build strong understanding of customer needs and market demands

Skills & Experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics or similar
5+ years in precision engineering, metrology or related high-tech sectors
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and technical product usability
Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
