Project Account Manager - Large Projects - HS2
About the Role
Territory coverage: North London, Oxfordshire, Bedfordshire
As a Project Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving customer satisfaction across major projects, including they key infrastructure project of HS2 (Central phase) You’ll build strong relationships with key contacts, position yourself as the trusted expert on all things Hilti, and identify opportunities to add real value. Every interaction is about delivering meaningful impact — by tailoring solutions, solving problems, and championing productivity.
What You'll do
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at every stage of the project lifecycle to all on-site Project Teams — providing practical solutions, technical advice, demonstrations, and hands-on support.
* Present value-driven, efficient solutions aligned to the project scope and backed by Hilti’s innovative range of products, software, and services.
* Work proactively with key decision-makers to secure specifications, gain technical approvals, and negotiate commercial terms that support long-term partnership
success.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong technical sales capability, with confidence communicating across all levels — from Procurement, Engineering and Supply Chain teams through to Director-level stakeholders.
* Proven experience in business development, ideally with technical products or solutions.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a focus on value-led, consultative selling.
* Confident presenting to different audiences, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings (desirable).
* Experience or knowledge of construction, data centres, rail, or similar project-driven industries.
* A natural sense of drive, curiosity and self-motivation — with a genuine desire to learn, grow and make an impact.
* Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
