RC Fornax is a veteran-owned engineering consultancy delivering high-value solutions for complex, safety-critical systems in industries where reliability and precision are paramount. As we scale, we need a Project Engineer to support with technical project delivery and contribute to the growth of the RC Fornax engineering function. Main Responsibilities: Support Technical Project Delivery - Contribute to the technical delivery and management of customer projects, ensuring high-quality, practical solutions are delivered. Support Internal Capability Development - Contribute to the development of engineering processes, tools, and best practices to support the scaling of RC Fornax's consultancy. Provide Support to Project Scoping - Provide dedicated support to the business development function, for example contributing to proposal development including early-stage feasibility studies, trade-off analyses and system architecture exploration. Collaborate across the business - Work closely with various other functions of the business. Professional Development - Willing to work towards professional registration with a known industry body (e.g. CEng). Essential: Engineering Knowledge - Solid technical foundation in a relevant technical discipline (e.g. Systems, Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical). Strong People Skills - Able to collaborate across multiple technical disciplines, ideally with experience working within a team environment. Adaptability - Comfortable switching between various technical challenges. Autonomy - Ability to work independently and take initiative within a fast-paced technical environment. Technical Curiosity - A desire to explore and contribute to the development of new technologies, ideally with knowledge of one or more of the following AI, ML, Autonomy, IoT, AR/VR. Process and Quality Focus - Awareness of engineering frameworks, standards, and assurance processes. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree, HND or equivalent experience. Why Join Us?
