Sheffield | 6-Month Initial Contract | Inside IR35 | Hybrid 3 Days Onsite
A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager IAM to join their large-scale transformation programme. This role will focus on driving the successful delivery and adoption of Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities across global business and technology teams.
Youll be joining a high-performing programme environment, taking responsibility for one of the IAM workstreams and ensuring delivery against agreed scope, schedule, and quality.

Key Responsibilities Manage an IAM workstream and support the adoption of IAM across Global Business and Global Functions.

Use standard project management practices, ensuring JIRA and Confluence artefacts are kept up to date.

Support the team in identifying and unblocking issues impacting progress.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the IAM programme.

Lead internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver on defined scope.

Engage with business and technology stakeholders to agree delivery priorities.

Proactively follow up with project resources to keep the workstream on track.

Escalate progress concerns to the Programme Manager and support resolution.

Manage changes to plans, resourcing, and new requirements effectively.

Produce clear weekly status reports covering progress, risks, and issues.

Essential Skills & Experience Strong project management capability with experience in large programme environments.

Solid technical understanding of DevOps , Jenkins , CI/CD pipelines , cloud and on-premise infrastructure.

Previous hands-on experience delivering IAM projects .

Strong knowledge of IAM controls, capabilities, and requirements.

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including with senior stakeholders.

Proactive team player with experience working in global or complex programme structures.

Understanding of regulatory and audit requirements.

Curious, fast learner with an inquisitive mindset.

Desired Project management qualification (Prince2, PMP).

Experience working with technical, Cybersecurity, or operations teams.

Prior experience as a Scrum Master or team lead in a large organisation or complex programme.

Familiarity with JIRA , workflow management tools, and agile delivery approaches.
