Project Manager - Southern Division Location: Bracknell (with travel across the South) Salary: £65,000 (negotiable) + packageThe OpportunityA well-established, Northern-based contractor is expanding into the South of England and is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to play a key role in driving this growth. This is a pivotal position for someone who wants more than just a job - offering the chance to take real ownership of the Southern division and help shape its future.The initial project is a £2.2m nursery fit-out and full refurbishment in Bracknell, commencing in July. Due to the nature of the role and project, we are keen to speak with candidates based locally or within a commutable distance.This is a career-defining opportunity for someone with the drive to build, lead, and grow a regional presence - with genuine prospects of progression to Director level and potential equity in the business.The RoleReporting directly to senior leadership, you will take full responsibility for delivering projects across the Southern region, starting with the Bracknell scheme. You will act as the company's key representative in the South, leading operations, building relationships, and driving performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of projects across the Southern regionManage the £2.2m nursery fit-out and refurbishment project in Bracknell from mobilisation through to completionOversee works including roofing, flooring, rendering, and asbestos removal across a multi-floor schemeControl programme, cost, quality, and health & safety performanceCoordinate site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partnersChair progress meetings and provide clear reporting to senior managementEnsure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and HSE requirementsManage risk, variations, and client relationshipsSupport pre-construction activities and mobilisation of future projectsAct as the driving force behind the Southern division, helping to establish and grow the regional businessAbout YouWe are looking for someone with exceptional ambition and drive - an individual who wants to take ownership, build something meaningful, and become a key part of the business long term.Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering construction or fit-out projectsBackground in commercial, education, healthcare, or specialist fit-out sectors (nursery/education experience advantageous)Strong leadership and stakeholder management skillsCommercially aware with solid contract management experienceHighly organised, proactive, and solutions-focusedAble to work autonomously and make key decisionsBased within a commutable distance of BracknellQualificationsSMSTS (essential)CSCS Black CardFirst Aid at WorkFull UK Driving LicenceThe PackageSalary: £65,000 per annum (negotiable)Company package including car or allowance, pension, and holidaysSignificant autonomy and influence within a growing divisionClear pathway to senior leadership, with potential for Director-level progression and shares in the businessApply: Ready to bring your expertise to the team?
