Project Manager - Peterborough - Attractive salary + Car\n\nALH Recruitment are looking to recruit a Project Manager with immediate effect for our market leading client based in the Peterborough area.\n\nWe have an exciting new role within our clients Engineering Projects Team as a Project Manager to support the demands of the growing business, in liquid and powder process solution equipment, consumable supplier to the food, beverage, brewery, bakery, dairy and utility industries throughout the UK. As such you will have the opportunity to bring forward your own ideas to the team. This role offers a great opportunity to work alongside a small team of project managers.\n\nReporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for delivery of start to completion of projects to the liquid & powder process & food industry in the UK.\n\nProject Manager - Duties:\n\n * Lead the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary complex projects within collaborative delivery teams.\n\n * Client-side project management, including stakeholder, H&S, risk, quality, schedule, and contract management.\n\n * Manages all phases of projects from sales handover to project sign off on completion.\n\n * Ensure projects are delivered to the satisfaction of the client for quality, cost, and time.\n\n * Manages one or more very complex projects.\n\n * Carry out preconstruction site assessments detailing all aspects of CDM and EHS regulations.\n\n * Support and manage the project team ensuring appropriate resources are provided on projects, meeting the client and business requirements.\n\n * Actively manage subcontractors and resources remote from the core project team.\n\n * Develop strong relationships with clients and members of the internal cross-functional team.\n\n * Support business development opportunities with existing and new clients.\n\n * Develop strong collaborative relationships with clients, stakeholders and members of the multi-disciplinary project team.\n\nManage the efficient delivery of project management team outputs, in accordance with agreed timescales and quality standards.\n\nExperience / Skills\n\n * Preferable knowledge of either the Food & Beverage, pharmaceutical, Industrial, chemical FMCG / water industry.\n\n * Experience in the design and delivery of medium to large scale projects.\n\n * Project / business management experience, ideally within the food, beverage, brewery, bakery, dairy and utility industries.\n\n * Experience delivering projects through the full project life cycle.\n\n * Experience managing and integrating multidisciplinary projects.\n\n * Experience managing Project Control function covering Planning, Estimating, Financial Control and commercial management disciplines.\n\n * Excellent communication skills.\n\n * Experience of dealing with clients, building strong working relationships.\n\n * Commercially focused.\n\n * Experience of working in a Multi-Discipline environment and good understanding of co-ordination and interfaces with other disciplines.\n\nEnsure compliance of the equipment with company Engineering standards and quality procedures.\n\nIf you feel you have the skills and experience to step into this exciting Project Manager position, please apply below
