Property Litigation Solicitor | 1+ PQE | Manchester


A property litigation team in Manchester is expanding following significant client wins, and the timing creates an opening for someone who wants to carve out a genuine specialism in landlord and tenant work.


This team sits within one of the UK's largest property litigation practices, acting for household-name landlords, investment portfolios, local authorities and developers on residential possession, disrepair defence, service charge disputes and contentious long leasehold matters.


The Work

The focus is residential landlord and tenant litigation: advising on and conducting contested possession claims, defending disrepair claims, advising landlords on repairing obligations and compliance with the Renters Rights Act 2025, and handling housing law matters including rent repayment orders, HMO licensing issues, tenant breaches and rent increases.


At 1+ PQE, the expectation is proactive case management, client contact and initiative from day one. As the team grows, early-stage responsibility becomes leading on files, supervising others and contributing to client development.
