Qualified Residential Childcare Practitioner

Location:Sinfin, Derby

Salary: £35,800 - £36,300 per year (inclusive of sleep ins)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a QualifiedResidential Childcare Practitioners to join their dedicated team in children's residential homes in Castleford.

You will play a crucial role in supporting and caring for children and young people, helping them develop life skills, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. You will work alongside a Senior Co-Worker on a structured rota, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

What Were Looking For
  • Experience in children's residential care or transferable skills
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • A full UK driving licence (essential) youll need to transport young people to appointments, school, social activities etc
  • Compassion, resilience, and the ability to build strong relationships with young people
Shift Pattern
  • Long shifts plus sleep ins
  • Rolling 3-week rota, averaging 10 shifts per month
