We are seeking a passionate and driven Quality Improvement &Compliance Lead to join our team at Half Penny Steps Health Centre.

This role is ideal for a healthcare professional with a strong background inNHS regulatory compliance and a proven track record in delivering qualityimprovement (QI) initiatives. You will play a key role in ensuring we providesafe, effective, and high-quality caresupporting us to meet and exceedregulatory standards, including CQC and NHS England expectations.

Main duties of the job

Key Duties &Responsibilities

Quality Improvement:Lead and implement structured QI projects across clinical and non-clinicalareas. Use data to drive service improvement and build a robust portfolio ofevidence for inspections and performance reviews.

Compliance & Governance:Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure thepractice is inspection-ready. Lead internal audits and ensure alignment withCQC, NHS England, and local ICB standards.

Performance & Data Monitoring:Regularly review practice KPIs using tools such as SystmOne, QOF, CQRS, and PCNDES dashboards. Produce reports that highlight trends and areas forimprovement.

Policies & Documentation:Maintain and update the practices internal policy framework. Ensure keydocumentation is version-controlled and accessible.

Team Support & Training:Act as a source of guidance on compliance and QI methodology for clinicians,administrators, and managers. Support internal learning, preparation forinspections, and continuous development.
