Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM's
Line-side predominantly visual inspection of Forgings requiring some manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.
Job Description:
Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support the visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings' efforts at their facility.
Daily line-side inspection of Forgings. The resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate.
Further orientation will be performed onsite.
Duration:
3 to 6 months
Frequency:
38.5hrs Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.
Skill Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience using dimensional inspection equipment
Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5
Must be able to interpret blueprints and drawings
Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes
Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports
Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls-Royce and some Defence Platforms.
Must be UK Citizen
