Job Description
Quantity Surveyor\nBirmingham (office/site based)\nPermanent\nUp to £58,000 Annum\nWe are looking for a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our urban division, supporting a portfolio of multidisciplinary light rail projects. You will manage commercial activities from project inception through to final account, ensuring maximum commercial performance and value delivery.\nCurrent projects include major infrastructure developments across Birmingham, contributing to improved transport connectivity and city regeneration.\nRequirements\n * Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.\n * Minimum 2 years’ QS experience on major projects.\n * Knowledge of finance systems, cost management, and contract administration.\n * Strong Microsoft Office skills.\n * Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (RICS or CIOB accredited).\nSalary & Benefits\n * Company pension (6% employer contribution)\n * 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with option to buy more\n * Death in Service (4x annual salary)\n * Health & wellbeing support including Employee Assistance Programme, Aviva Digital GP, Health Cashplan, flu vaccinations and eye care vouchers\n * Cycle to Work Scheme\nThe partnering concept promoted by Vital means that we work together with candidates and clients to achieve your career and recruitment objectives.
