Quantity Surveyor

Overview
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction team delivering a mix of residential and commercial projects across London. This role offers exposure to high-quality developments and the opportunity to develop strong commercial and contractual experience within a fast-paced environment.
You will support the commercial team in managing project costs, subcontractor packages, and financial reporting from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
Support the commercial management of residential and commercial projects Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts Carry out measurement and quantity take-offs from drawings Assist with subcontractor procurement and tender analysis Manage interim valuations, variations, and payment applications Monitor project expenditure against budgets Support contract administration (JCT/NEC) Liaise with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers Assist with final account preparation and agreement
Requirements
Essential
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management 2–5 years’ experience in construction (residential, commercial, or fit-out) Strong understanding of construction methods and cost control Working knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts Strong numerical and analytical skills Good communication and organisational ability
Desirable
Main contractor or developer experience Exposure to mixed-use or residential developments Progressing towards MRICS accreditation
