We're currently supporting a leading civil engineering contractor on a major infrastructure scheme in West Yorkshire, and are looking to engage an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis.This is a site-based role on a complex, live project, offering the opportunity to take ownership of key work packages within a collaborative delivery environment.The RoleAs a Senior QS, you'll play a key role within the commercial team, taking responsibility for the commercial management of sections of work within a cost reimbursable / NEC contract environment.Key responsibilities will include:Full commercial ownership of assigned packagesCost reporting, forecasting and CVRsManagement and assessment of Compensation EventsSubcontract procurement, administration and final accountsEnsuring compliance with contract processes and cost mechanismsWorking closely with operational teams to drive commercial performanceRequirementsProven experience operating at Senior QS level within civil engineering or infrastructureStrong working knowledge of NEC contracts (cost reimbursable / target cost essential)Experience managing packages independently on live projectsStrong commercial acumen and stakeholder management skillsComfortable working in a site-based environmentIf you're interested or would like to discuss further, apply now or get in touch for a confidential conversation.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
