We're supporting a well-established specialist civil engineering and reinforced concrete contractor with the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The business delivers complex groundworks, RC frame and structural packages across technically challenging projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven QS looking to take ownership of key packages within a structured and supportive environment.

The Role

Reporting into a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of your allocated project(s) from procurement through to final account.

Key responsibilities include:

Subcontract procurement and package management

Contract administration (NEC predominantly, with some JCT exposure)

Managing valuations, variations and change control

Producing cost reports, forecasts and CVRs

Supporting subcontractor negotiations and final accounts

Working closely with operational teams to monitor cost and risk

You will be given genuine responsibility while operating within a strong commercial framework.

About You

Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, groundworks or RC frame environments

Working knowledge of NEC contracts

Strong commercial awareness and negotiation capability

Confident managing subcontractor accounts and reporting

Degree qualified (Quantity Surveying or similar) preferred
