Im working with a leading main contractor who is looking to appoint aQuantity Surveyorto join their growing London team, based out of their Central London office.ThisQuantity Surveyorrole has come about due to a strong pipeline of secured work across residential, commercial and healthcare projects. The successfulQuantity Surveyorwill support the commercial team while also taking responsibility for key packages on live projects.This is a good opportunity for aQuantity Surveyorwho is looking to step up and gain more exposure on larger schemes.Duties:Support the commercial team as aQuantity Surveyoron live projectsManage subcontractor packages from procurement through to final accountAssist with valuations, variations and final accountsMaintain site records and commercial documentationSupport with CVRs, forecasts and cost reportingWork closely with site teams and Project ManagersAssist in value engineering and cost controlRequirements:Experience working as aQuantity Surveyoror Assistant Quantity Surveyor stepping upBackground with a main contractor or large subcontractorExperience on residential, commercial or healthcare projectsGood understanding of subcontractor managementConfident working on site and supporting live projectsStrong organisational and communication skillsThisQuantity Surveyorrole would suit someone looking to take on more responsibility and progress within a busy contractor delivering projects across London.JBRP1_UKTJ
