Our client is looking to strengthen their Commercial team with an experienced Quantity Surveyor based at the Hampton office, with hybrid working and site involvement on a major project.

Reporting directly to the Managing QS, you'll play a key role in managing several high-value accounts or overseeing the full financial performance of smaller projects—giving you real ownership and impact from day one.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing applications, valuations, and cost value reconciliation
  • Driving cost control, forecasting, and monthly reporting (value, cost, profit/loss, cash flow)
  • Overseeing supply chain management and subcontractor relationships
  • Supporting Risk & Value Management to optimise project outcomes
  • Handling contract management, including NEC/IChemE frameworks and budgetary control
  • Preparing subcontract enquiries, negotiating and setting up contracts
  • Ensuring all contractual documentation and notifications are up to date
  • Promoting a strong health & safety culture, escalating risks where needed
  • Maintaining close liaison with site teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Providing commercial and contractual advice to project teams
About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent)
  • RICS accredited or working towards APC
  • Background working with a main contractor

Desirable:

  • Experience within the Water sector
  • Knowledge of NEC and/or IChemE contracts
