Real Estate Lawyer (2–5 PQE)

LAW Absolute are seeking junior to mid-level Real Estate Lawyers to join the London real estate investment and development company of a major sovereign wealth fund.

Our client manages some of the most prestigious commercial properties, not only in the UK but internationally, offering the incoming Real Estate Lawyer an extraordinary platform to deepen their expertise on an exceptional property portfolio.

Alongside core real estate work, you can also gain valuable experience across commercial contracts, employment, and IP/data protection matters. Real Estate is however the primary focus.

The Role

You will play a key role in supporting the General Counsel and the wider business, with responsibilities including:

• Managing a wide range of real estate matters, including retail and office leases and associated asset management documentation
• Reviewing and overseeing consumer and service contracts with third-party providers
• Updating internal policies and drafting papers for the General Counsel and Board in response to legal and regulatory developments affecting UK assets
• Running legal projects, document management, and case oversight
• Supporting broader matters involving commercial contracts, employment law, and intellectual property

About You

• Qualified lawyer with approximately 2–5 years’ PQE
• Solid training and experience in commercial real estate
• Comfortable working independently while maintaining strong communication and reporting lines
• Confident in advising senior stakeholders, including the General Counsel and Board
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple matters and manage risk effectively

• You will be working in offices overlooking some of the best views of London and based close to the station. This role requires the Real Estate Lawyer to be on site 5 days per week.
