A welcoming and supportive primary school in Leigh is looking for a Reception Teacher to join their team for the Summer term (April-July), with the potential for the role to extend for the right candidate.

This is a school with a strong community feel, where staff work closely together and support one another. Although the class teacher takes ownership of their planning, the school offers a collaborative and experienced team, supportive leadership and excellent classroom support, ensuring teachers feel well supported in their role.

The role

Reception Class Teacher - full-time

Teaching for the Summer Term (April - July)

Planning and delivering engaging EYFS learning opportunities

Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment

Working closely with experienced support staff and the wider school team

The ideal candidate

UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching EYFS / Reception

Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

A nurturing and positive classroom approach

Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents
