Permanent Recruitment Account Manager.

We deliver high-performing digital, data and technology (DDaT) teams into the UK public sector, and now seek a dedicated Permanent Recruitment Account Manager to grow our permanent offering with government clients.


About the Role


The role is focused on developing and delivering permanent hiring solutions into our existing consulting and public sector accounts. You’ll also be responsible for opening new permanent recruitment lines of business, sourcing directly across DDaT skillsets, and upselling RPO/embedded recruitment solutions where appropriate. This is a strategic hire for SR2, designed to accelerate our permanent revenue growth in government.


Responsibilities

Permanent Recruitment Delivery

  • Own the full recruitment lifecycle across DDaT roles (engineering, DevOps, data, product, design, cyber, user research).
  • Source, qualify, and deliver high-quality candidates into public sector clients.
  • Build and manage pipelines of security-cleared talent.
  • Provide salary benchmarking, market intelligence and candidate insights.
  • Build & lead a best in class team of delivery consultants as the function scales.


Business Development & Account Growth

  • Open up permanent hiring opportunities within SR2’s existing accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers, HR, and TA leads.
  • Identify and convert opportunities to deliver RPO/embedded recruitment solutions.
  • Track account performance and drive growth against commercial targets.
  • Contribute to bids and proposals where permanent or RPO services are included.


RPO / Embedded Recruitment

  • Lead and deliver onsite/embedded recruitment campaigns, acting as an extension of client TA teams.
  • Manage high-volume, multi-discipline hiring across DDaT functions.
  • Ensure delivery against agreed SLAs and KPIs with full reporting and governance.
  • Shape and execute talent attraction strategies for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Support clients with strategic workforce planning alongside day-to-day delivery.


Qualifications

  • 3–6 years’ experience in permanent recruitment, ideally in government or consulting environments.
  • If not gov or consulting, then you will have experience managing large scale accounts with a proven track record of success.


Required Skills

  • Strong background sourcing DDaT roles across account management, software engineering, data, product, design, and cyber.
  • Proven track record of growing perm business within key accounts.
  • Confident in managing SLAs, KPIs and reporting frameworks for clients.
  • Strong relationship builder with senior stakeholders, HR, and TA leads.
  • Commercially minded with ability to identify and close new opportunities.
  • Familiar with government culture, security clearance and frameworks.


Pay range and compensation package


  • Flexible depending on experience.
