If you’re a Recruitment Assistant looking for a broader role and the chance to develop your skills, or a Recruitment Agency Resourcer looking for a role in-house, then this permanent opportunity to join a law firm in the City as a Recruitment Coordinator could be the perfect next step for you!
Our client is a growing and ambitious mid-sized law firm based near London Bridge in the City.
They operate hybrid working (3 days in the office) and have an incredibly supportive and relaxed Recruitment and HR team.
They are looking for someone to come on board to directly support their Recruitment Manager.
Although it is a recruitment, not HR, role, it will be quite a broad one, not just dealing with the recruitment admin and coordination for experienced hires, but also helping with Early Careers, onboarding, and looking after the interns/work experience employees.
The firm are growing rapidly, and they expect this team to grow too, so there is potential in the future for you to develop and take on more responsibility on the recruitment side, from running projects to fully running recruitment on some roles yourself.
- Advertising open vacancies, both internally and externally, and be the first point of contact for the “candidate experience”
- Become the internal “super-user” for the inhouse recruitment and applicant tracking system
- Be the onboarding champion, ensuring that the “candidate experience” is excellent throughout, and continues as they become a new joiner
- Support the Recruitment Manager with LinkedIn searches and talent mapping
- Work closely with external agencies and internal managers to coordinate interviews and feedback
- Assist the Recruitment Manager in organising graduate assessment days and all the related administration and candidate communication
- Manage the Careers Inbox, taking responsibility for responding to applicants and managing the process.
What they are looking for is bright, confident communicator with excellent administration skills.
Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years+ experience in a recruitment administration/coordination role – ideally within a law firm or similar environment, but they would consider resourcers from legal recruitment agencies looking to move inhouse.
