Regional Finance Role - Ideal for Part-Qualified or Newly Qualified Candidates

Gleeson Homes is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious finance professional to join our Regional Finance team. This role is perfect for someone who is part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and ready to take the next step in their career.

You'll play an important role in supporting the accuracy and clarity of financial reporting across the Region, working closely with the Regional Head of Finance and colleagues across Finance, Commercial and Operations. This is a great opportunity to build strong technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and develop into a confident business partner.

You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team where you'll learn from experienced finance leaders while taking ownership of meaningful work that helps drive performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounts
Support the production of month-end financials in line with Gleeson Homes policies
Ensure financial judgements are clear, well-supported and reviewed with the Regional Head of Finance
Assist in preparing monthly commentary to explain results

Budgeting & Forecasting
Work with the Regional Head of Finance and wider team to help prepare budgets and forecasts
Build your understanding of key drivers behind regional performance

Overheads Management
Help ensure overheads are accurately recorded and understood
Provide insight and constructive challenge to operational teams

Cash Flow Forecasting
Support the understanding of monthly cash flows and future cash requirements
Highlight areas where return on investment could be improved

Balance Sheet & Site Understanding
Build a strong understanding of each development site in the Region
Support the review of WIP levels and raise any concerns

Data Accuracy & Integrity
Help improve data quality across the Region
Support teams in resolving data issues

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operational teams to understand performance drivers
Support continuous improvement and help solve day-to-day challenges

Operational Finance Support
Assist the Regional Head of Finance with daily finance tasks
Provide cover when needed, giving you exposure to more senior responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is:
Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
Confident using Excel; experience with COINS or Anaplan is a bonus
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
A good communicator who enjoys working with non-finance teams
Curious, proactive and keen to learn
Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
A team player with a collaborative mindset
