Position: Registered Manager
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum + £500 monthly bonus (subject to full occupancy)
Location: Blackburn
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pm (and additional hours as required)
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a well-established care home in Blackburn. This is a rewarding leadership role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of residents, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care in a warm and welcoming environment.
As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the care provided meets the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). You will lead the care and administrative teams, develop and implement policies and procedures, manage budgets, recruit and train staff, and ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all departments within the care home, including care, nursing, administration, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance.

Ensure compliance with CQC standards and other regulatory requirements.

Manage budgets and financial targets.

Oversee recruitment, training, and staff development.

Promote a positive culture and create a supportive work environment.

Manage complaints, incidents, and safeguarding alerts, and ensure timely reporting to relevant authorities.

Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure the home remains at the highest possible standard.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or in a similar role within a care environment.

Relevant qualifications, such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or Registered Managers Award (RMA).

Strong leadership skills and ability to manage and motivate a team.

Experience of managing budgets and financial reporting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
