Registered Manager – Solo Children’s Home | Mansfield | £50k-£60k + Bonus

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a brand-new solo children’s home near Mansfield. This is a unique opportunity to shape a high-quality, therapeutic environment for a child with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) from day one.

Location: Mansfield
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + performance-related bonus up to £6,000
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week (Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm)

What We’re Looking For:

*

Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience in children’s residential care (EBD/solo care preferred)

*

NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete)

*

Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes legislation, and safeguarding standards

*

Compassionate, resilient, and capable of establishing a positive culture

*

Committed to trauma-informed, therapeutic care

Key Responsibilities:

*

Oversee Ofsted registration and launch of the home

*

Recruit, develop, and lead a small therapeutic team

*

Provide tailored care for one child with complex needs

*

Ensure compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards

*

Build strong relationships with families, local authorities, and professionals

*

Promote a culture of reflection, stability, and long-term positive outcomes

Requirements:

Right to work in the UK

*

Good English communication skills for records and safeguarding

*

Full Enhanced DBS Check
