As a Registered Manager you will support and lead the team while managing a solo bedded home. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead from the front and manage a home while supporting young people aged 8 to17 with complex need and displaying challenging behaviours , while providing and safe and nurturing environment for Young People.\n\nWe welcome applications from Experienced Registered Manager, as well as Strong Deputy Managers looking to take the next step in there career with full support of the Senior management team who have over 40 Years combined experience.\n\nRoles & Responsibilities\n\n * Oversee the day-to-day management of the home.\n\n * Lead, support, and develop staff teams to provide a therapeutic, child-centred environment.\n\n * Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations.\n\n * Manage and personalise Care plans to each child to meet there needs and\n\n * Promote structure, emotional regulation, and preparation for adulthood while providing a safe nurturing setting.\n\n * Take overall responsibility for safeguarding across both homes.\n\n * Collaborate with local authorities, social workers, schools, health professionals, and families.\n\n * Represent both homes in reviews, inspections, and multi-agency, local authority meetings.\n\n * Lead and manage the Residential care team to provide high-quality support for Children and Young people, ensure staff feel supported and complete Rota's.\n\n * Liaise and work in partnership with Local Authorities and Health services.\n\nRequirements for the Role\n\n * Proven experience supporting Young People with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties and Challenging Behaviours.\n\n * 2 Years management experience in Children's Residential Care\n\n * A clear understanding and strong knowledge of the Children's Home Regulations and The Children's Act and Safeguarding\n\n * Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Children's Residential (or equivalent) or working towards it.\n\n£5000 Ofsted Bonus upon Registration\n\n£250 Welome Bonus T&Cs apply
