Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established childrens residential home. In this role, you will hold full operational responsibility, shaping the culture, guiding service delivery, and leading a skilled team of professionals committed to supporting young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

As Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the home, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding outcomes for young people.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading person-centred services that prioritise safety, wellbeing, and development
• Supervising and coaching Deputy Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Support Workers
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining inspection-ready standards
• Managing budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently
• Using IT systems to monitor staff performance, incidents, training, and occupancy
• Building strong relationships with external professionals and agencies to enhance the service and support referrals
• Driving staff development and continuous learning to create a high-performing team
• Leading service improvements and implementing best practice

Requirements:

Were looking for a proactive, resilient, and inspirational leader.

You will need to have:

• Experience as a Registered Manager or senior leadership role in childrens residential care
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare) or equivalent
• Valid DBS within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service) or willingness to complete a new one
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory standards, and quality assurance
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills
• The ability to oversee operations, budgets, and staff effectively
• Exceptional communication and organisational skills
• A hands-on approach and a commitment to continuous improvement

• Knowledge of trauma-informed, therapeutic, or behaviour-led care approaches
