Registered Manager Residential Care Home Location: Exmouth, Devon
Salary: £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Home We are a well-established, medium-sized residential care home located in the beautiful East Devon coastal area near Exmouth. The home provides high-quality, person-centred care for older adults, including those living with dementia, in a warm, welcoming and homely environment.
Set within attractive grounds, the service has a strong local reputation and is committed to delivering compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence and meaningful engagement for every resident.
The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team and drive excellence across all aspects of the service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and operational management of the home
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards
  • Drive high-quality, person-centred care delivery
  • Lead, develop and inspire the staff team through effective supervision and training
  • Maintain strong governance, quality assurance and risk management systems
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals and the wider community
  • Oversee occupancy, budget management and sustainable service performance
About You Essential:
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards)
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager within a regulated care setting
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Passion for delivering high-quality dementia and residential care
Desirable:
  • Experience managing a residential service for older adults
  • Track record of achieving positive inspection outcomes
