Salary:

£47,000 - £50,000

Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are seeking an experienced, confident Registered Manager to lead a childrens residential home supporting young people with learning disabilities, autism, trauma, and complex needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, developing teams, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

You will lead a dedicated staff team and take full responsibility for ensuring the service consistently delivers outstanding, child-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

As Registered Manager, you will direct the service while creating a supportive and empowering environment centred on the wellbeing of each young person.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating a team to deliver high standards of care
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the home
  • Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
  • Embedding a trauma-informed and child-centred approach
  • Managing staffing, rotas, and resources effectively
  • Always maintaining strong safeguarding practices
  • Supporting and developing staff through supervision and mentoring
  • Building positive relationships with families, professionals, and external agencies
  • Driving continuous improvement across the service
  • Ensuring a safe, stable, and supportive environment for young people

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who can lead with confidence and compassion.

You will need to have:

  • Experience managing a regulated childrens home
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Valid DBS within the last 12 months (preferably on the update service) or willingness to complete a new one
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Residential Childcare), or working towards
  • The ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
  • Experience supporting young people with complex needs
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A resilient, proactive, and child-focused approach
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices
