We are currently recruiting for an experienced Road Freight Key Account Manager on behalf of a well-established logistics company based in Stockport, Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in UK and European road freight who is looking to develop key client relationships while contributing to the growth of a busy freight operation.
The Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key clients, ensuring high levels of service while identifying opportunities to grow revenue within UK and European road freight.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and develop relationships with existing key accounts
*
Oversee day-to-day UK and European road freight shipments
*
Provide quotes and logistics solutions tailored to client requirements
*
Identify opportunities to grow accounts and increase branch profitability
*
Maintain regular communication with clients and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
*
Experience within road freight / freight forwarding
*
Strong knowledge of UK and European road transport
*
Experience managing customer accounts within logistics or freight
*
Strong communication and relationship management skills
*
Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities
Package
*
£35,000 basic salary
*
10.5% commission on branch profit
*
