Sales Director (Lift Industry)

£80k - £90k basic (£100k OTE)

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead, develop, and grow our sales function, driving business growth and strengthening client relationships across the UK. The candidate must have previous experience in the lift or escalator industry.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the Sales Team to achieve targets and improve performance
• Define and deliver sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
• Oversee tendering processes, pricing, and contract negotiations to maximise margins
• Monitor sales performance, set targets, and report progress to senior leadership
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handovers.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability across existing contracts
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies

Skills & Experience Required

• Proven track record of sales success, ideally within the lift industry
• Strong leadership and people management experience
• Skilled in developing new business and managing key accounts
• Commercially aware with strong negotiation and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
