Equifind are excited to have joined up with a leading financial services firm in London, who are looking for a SAP Consultant to join the business, to assist them with a new system migration.

We’re looking for someone who knows SAP inside out, especially S/4 Hana, and can support with a data migration project.

You will play a key role in the S/4 HANA data migration project, working closely with both external and internal stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of the project and ongoing support for the finance team.

Key duties and responsibilities for this SAP consultant include:

• Lead and manage the SAP S/4 Hana Public Cloud data migration activities
• Resolve data migration cockpit issues and defects arising from the data load cycles
• Support the data management lead in the migration of complex financial data from the ledger to SAP S/4 Hana
• Help develop and implement the data migration strategies, processes, and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient data transfer
• Validate and cleanse data to ensure data integrity and quality throughout the migration process
• Utilise your data manipulation skills. Including SQL, Excel and Python, to extract, transform and load data for the migration
• Perform data mapping, transformation and validation to ensure the data is accurate and consistent
• Work together with the project team and external stakeholders to manage a top-level project
• Provide guidance and support to the project team to optimise the data migration project
• Effectively communicate the data migration progress, any issues arising, and advise stakeholders and business units recommendations

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years in data migration projects
• Experience of financial accounting and reporting is a MUST
• Strong technical knowledge of the SAP ecosystem
• Proven track record of delivering SAP projects
• Experience in the financial services industry is a MUST, ideally in the SME space
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management

You will work closely with the head of finance, wider finance team and the external consultants to assist them with the integration. The culture is fantastic, in addition to being high performing.

As the business is a true financial services SME, they like to collaborate daily and request the team in the office three days per week in London.

You will be a key member to the project team from the off and they will heavily rely on your expertise.

Daily Rate

This SAP consultant opportunity in London, will pay in the region of £550-£800 per day, depending on your experience and industry background.

This will be 6 months’ work and to start straightaway, as we will be running interviews over the next week.
